Introduction
In a world where indulgence and sophistication go hand in hand, luxury drinks have carved out a niche that caters to the discerning palate of connoisseurs. From opulent wines to rare spirits and artisanal cocktails, the realm of luxury beverages offers an extraordinary journey for those who seek a refined taste adventure.
The Cabernet Franc vine does particularly well in our Napa micro climate making this a much sought after varietal. Herb and spice aromas with soft plum undertones lead you to fresh fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry.
This year, Remy Martin has teamed up with world renowned and award-winning product designer Lee Broom on its latest Rémy Martin XO Limited Edition. For the first time since its creation in 1981, the Rémy Martin XO Decanter has been injected with a new distinctive edge, designed by Lee Broom. Lee Broom’s inspiration stems from the opulence and radiant taste of Rémy Martin XO. The designer has put his unique mark on the decanter by carving hundreds of fine ‘starburst’ cuts into the indents of its solar shape. Each cut symbolizes one of the many eaux-de-vie within the Rémy Martin XO blend. Inspired by icicles, they not only amplify the radiance and opulence of the blend, but the fabulous array of aromas.
The Yamazaki 12 Years Old Single Malt is comprised of meticulously selected malt whiskies all cask-aged aged for a minimum of 12 years. This special limited-edition bottling was created in honor of Suntory Whisky's centenary. Part of the Yamazaki family, Japan’s quintessential whisky, it is made in Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery which was founded in 1923. Yamazaki means “mountain cape”, referencing its unique geographic location – secluded amongst a range of forest covered mountains. The bottle design pays tribute to Yamazaki, the birthplace of Japanese Whisky, captures this legendary distillery in deep copper tones, and is a reminder to always honor our past.
A marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, one cannot but be taken by the uber-dark color of this wine. Yet when the first sip is taken, an unexpected profile emerges from the glass with elegance and freshness accompanied by a wealth of minerality. The nose explodes with aromas of cassis, cured meats, coffee, licorice, dark chocolate, and spice. Full-bodied, this flawlessly balanced wine will keep you thinking for a long time while the finish does not stop.
Daou Patrimony Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
This vintage is the epitome of a terroir-driven wine that has immense power without sacrificing any elegance. The wine explodes out of the glass with boysenberry fruit, crème de cassis, cedar, cigars, crushed stone and lead pencil accompanied by a perfume of violets. Deep and full-bodied, rich with astonishing texture, it manages to stay fresh and balanced throughout with a finish that does not stop.
This year’s expression marks the 15th release of the Master’s Collection, which was created to honor the many discoveries and innovations that occurred at the 1812 distillery site where Woodford Reserve is now located. Starting with the 2020 edition, all future master collections will focus on modern innovation by Morris and McCall.
“The name Very Fine Rare Bourbon is a nod to the descriptors used by our ancestors to auction highly-aged Bourbon barrel lots,” Morris said. “While Woodford Reserve will always honor the past, this Master’s Collection is about the present and future.”
The bourbon includes liquid from barrels that are 17 years old and date to 2003, the year Chris Morris was named Master Distiller. Morris and McCall have been holding back the barrels to batch with other barrels for a special release.
Cognac Prunier VSOP is a distinguished variety of Cognac, representing the Very Superior Old Pale category. Crafted by the renowned house of Prunier, this Cognac is a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and tradition. With a maturation period that exceeds the minimum requirements, the VSOP designation indicates that the youngest eau-de-vie (grape brandy) in the blend has been aged for at least four years.
